💭 TheTrendsWire's Take
The distance between Hounslow and Cardiff — and the fact that two suspects, not one, were located there together nearly a week after the killing — suggests investigators were working a specific lead almost immediately rather than a broad manhunt. That kind of fast, targeted arrest usually points to digital evidence (phone data, ANPR, financial transactions) rather than a chance sighting, though the Met hasn't detailed how the Cardiff connection was made.
