A quiet Monday night in Parkchester turned into a crime scene just before 8:15pm.
A 46-year-old man was fatally shot in the head in front of a liquor store near the intersection of Archer Street and White Plains Road, according to the NYPD.
What Happened
Emergency responders rushed the man to NYC Health+Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced dead.
Photos from the scene showed blood on the sidewalk as investigators worked to process the area and mark off evidence with cones.
